Staking
Stake COOK with a validator you choose.
Morsel stakes COOK natively, straight to Cookie Chain validators. It suggests one with its reasons, keeps every stake in one place, and walks you through unstaking when you are ready.

The basics
How staking works
Validators run the network. Staking lends them weight and, when the network pays rewards, a share comes back to you. Your COOK stays yours throughout.
- 01
Delegate
Your COOK moves into a stake account that you control, delegated to a validator.
- 02
Warm up
The stake becomes active at the next epoch. On Cookie Chain an epoch is about 54 hours.
- 03
Earn what the network pays
Rewards come from network inflation, minus the validator's commission. Morsel shows the real rate, even when it is zero.
- 04
Unstake and withdraw
Unstaking takes effect at the end of the epoch. Then withdraw your COOK back to your wallet.
Validators
A suggestion, with its reasons.
Morsel suggests a validator and says why, including its commission. A validator that keeps all of the rewards is never suggested. Prefer another? Search the full list.

Solana
SOL works the same way.
Stake SOL with a Solana validator from the same kind of flow, or swap into a liquid staking token such as JitoSOL or jupSOL that earns while it stays tradable.
Your stakes
Everything in one place.
Active, activating and unstaking amounts, per stake. Stake more, unstake, withdraw or combine stakes from the same page.

Questions
How much does staking COOK earn today?
Rewards come from network inflation, and Cookie Chain's inflation is currently zero, so staking earns nothing right now. Morsel shows that real 0% with the reason instead of an estimate.
Can I lose my COOK by staking?
Your COOK sits in a stake account that only you control. The validator cannot spend it. Unstaking takes until the end of the epoch.
