Swapping Tokens

How to swap tokens on Cookie and Solana using the Morsel built-in swap.

Morsel has a built-in swap screen that routes your trades through the best available liquidity on each chain — Jupiter on Solana, and native Cookie DEX liquidity for Cookie.

How to Swap

  1. Tap Swap from the bottom navigation
  2. Tap the top field and choose the token you want to sell
  3. Tap the bottom field and choose the token you want to receive
  4. Enter the amount you want to sell — the output amount updates in real time
  5. Review the rate, price impact, and estimated fee
  6. Tap Swap and confirm with biometrics or PIN
The chain is determined automatically by the token you select. Pick a Cookie token to swap on Cookie, pick a Solana token to swap on Solana — no manual switching needed.

Slippage Tolerance

Slippage is the maximum price change you will accept between when you submit the swap and when it executes. The default is 0.5%.

  • 0.1% — for highly liquid pairs (SOL/USDC, COOK/USDC)
  • 0.5% — default, works for most tokens
  • 1–3% — for low-liquidity tokens or volatile market conditions

To change slippage, tap the settings icon on the Swap screen.

Price Impact

For large swaps, price impact shows how much your trade moves the market price. A high price impact (>2%) means you are trading a large portion of the available liquidity.

If price impact is above 5%, consider splitting your swap into smaller transactions to get a better average price.

You can search for any token by name, symbol, or mint address. Verified tokens are shown first with a checkmark.

Scammers create tokens with names identical to popular tokens. Always verify the mint address matches the official token before swapping.

Swap Fees

  • Network fee — paid to validators, typically < $0.001 on Cookie and $0.001–$0.01 on Solana
  • Protocol fee — a small fee on top of the best available route (shown in the swap preview)
  • Price impact — inherent to the liquidity pool, not a fee

Swap Not Going Through?

  • Increase slippage to 1–2% and try again
  • Make sure you have enough COOK or SOL to cover the network fee
  • Some tokens have buy/sell taxes — check the token details
  • If the swap route shows 0 liquidity, the pair may not be tradeable at this time
